We started Bend Backcountry because adventure has always been at the center of our lives. It is what drives us, and we love to share the outdoors with others.
Alex has spent years guiding people down the rivers as well as teaching on the mountain. As a professional rafting guide and snowboard instructor, she knows how to create fun, safe experiences no matter the season. When she's not guiding trips, you'll find her out paddle boarding or chasing the next great view.
Dan's path has been a little higher off the ground - skydiving, wingsuit flying, speed flying and BASE jumping. After years in the sky, Dan has learned that real adventure isn't about chasing adrenaline - it's about living fully and sharing that passion with others.
